New Dawn greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
A new day dawned on Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah after a 3-day fasting episode which led to their victory over a seemingly impossible battle (2 Chronicles 20:3-14, 22-24).

A new day dawned on the disciples of Christ after they were endued with power from on high through the platform of prayers (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:2-41).

All through scriptures, prayer and fasting has proved to be a covenant platform for empowerment (Luke 4:1-14, Luke 9:28-29, 35, 43).

We are empowered and re-empowered on the platform of prayers (Acts 2:1-4, Acts 4:3-33).

Prayer and fasting is not just about getting things from God, but gaining command over desires (Luke 4:14, 37, 46).

We gain command over all satanic strongholds through the mystery of prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21).

Moreover, prayer and fasting does not only change things, prayer and fasting changes people, as in the case of Moses (Exodus 34:27-35).

If we must walk in the New Dawn realm that Christ walked in, then we must embrace the demands of prayer and fasting as He did (Mark 2:18-20).

Furthermore, the Scripture recognizes four levels of spiritual empowerment, as stated in Ezekiel 47:1-5.

This truth is also validated by the following scriptural illustrations:

The Power Level – Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4 (ankle deep)
The Great Power Level – Acts 4:30-33 (Knee deep)
The Exceeding Great Power Level – Ephesians 1:18, Luke 9:43 (Loin deep), and
The Power of the world to come level – Hebrews 6:5, John 1:34 (Overflowing realm)
This is why we must take advantage of this forthcoming 21 days of prayer and fasting, to crave for change of level in empowerment, that will enable us gain higher command over the issues of life this year.

But remember, it takes a panting of the soul and a longing of the flesh to experience a change of level in the school of power (Psalm 63:1-3, John 7:37-39).

Specifically, what is in Prayer and Fasting for us?

Prayer and Fasting empowers our access to:

Next levels of anointing – Isaiah 58:6, Ezekiel 47:1-5, Luke 5:39
Clarity of divine direction – Isaiah 58:6, 11, Habakkuk 2:1-3
Next levels of spiritual authority – Luke 4:1-18, 32-36
New dimensions of breakthroughs – Isaiah 58:6, 11-14, Isaiah 45:1-3
Outbreak of fresh revelation – Isaiah 58:6, 8, 10
Destruction of every satanic stronghold – Isaiah 10:27, Luke 9:36-43
……etc., etc.

But, for our prayer and fasting to be effectual, we must:

Be repentant – 1 John 1:9, Isaiah 59:1-2, Proverbs 1:23, Psalm 66:18-19
Engage with faith – Matthew 17:20-21, Matthew 9:29, Ephesians 6:16
Engage with love – Matthew 6:14-15, Isaiah 58:6, 10, Galatians 5:6
Therefore, the prophetic focus for the month of January 2018 is:

PRAYING WITH FASTING WORKS – Isaiah 58:6-14

May the forthcoming 21-day prayer and fasting result in multiple change of levels in empowerment for everyone of us, turning every Winner into a New dawn personality all through 2018 and beyond/
