Our attention has been drawn to the unfortunate and unfounded headline carried
by the Standard newspaper of 1st November 2019 associating Winners Chapel
International Kenya with occultism.
Winners’ Chapel International is not whatsoever involved in any occult activities.
We preach the preservation of life and cannot be involved with criminal activities. We
believe in casting out devils by the power of the Holy Ghost. Satan cannot cast out
Satan; this is according to the Bible and we quote:
Matthew 12:26-28
26 And if satan cast out satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his
kingdom stand? 27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children
cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out devils by the
Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
We know that evil men with unregenerate minds are often used by the devil to
wage war against the church of God by swaying public sentiments to establish their
conceited interests-Acts 17:5-7. These are elements against the Church of Jesus Christ
and the gospel that we preach and practice. We demand that the police do conduct
investigations against elements perpetrating lies against the church.
We want to categorically state at this juncture that none of our Pastors, officials
or employees in the Winners Chapel international Kenya, have been questioned,
interrogated or arrested by the Investigative agencies in connection with these bizarre
activities reported or any other criminal act.
Winners Chapel International as a church and part of the body of Christ has never
practiced occultism and will never practice it. Our Lawyers are already taking legal actions
against the Standard Group together with the author of the false report – Cyrus Ombati.
We strongly believe in the power of the truth that it will always triumph over evil.

WHO ARE WINNERS CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL?
Winners’ Chapel International Kenya is a branch of Living Faith Church Worldwide,
and is part of the David Oyedepo Ministries International with its headquarters in Canaan land,
Ota – Nigeria.
The ministry was established after an 18 hour Heavenly vision given to its founder Bishop (Dr) David
Oyedepo 38 years ago. The Church was established in Kenya in 1995 and has over 61 vibrant Churches across
Kenya.
Besides its presence in Kenya, the church has thousands of churches spread
across the nations of Africa and other nations of the world like USA, Canada and UK.
Tens of thousands in Kenya and millions in the rest parts of the world are members of
the church and living witnesses of the efficacy, the validity and the authority of the
Word of faith preached by the ministry in the last 38 years.
As a church, we believe in salvation by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8), as it is
written no man can say Jesus is Lord, except by the Spirit of God (1John 4:1-3).
We have vehemently opposed publicly and privately occult and demonic practices in
the past 38 years of our Ministry. Instead, we have seen occultists, demoniacs, witches
and wizards delivered by the power of the Holy Ghost.
It is therefore strange for anyone to associate us with occultic practices since the
kingdom divided against itself cannot stand as supported by the scriptures in the
book of Matthew 12:26-28

Therefore, we cannot cast out devils and still be involved in occultic practices.
Finally, we pray that God Almighty who neither sleeps nor slumber will expose the
elements behind this malicious report and repay them according to their evil works.
